From Our Principal:
Can you believe it is June already? We are wrapping up our school year and getting ready for many exciting things that will be happening this summer during camp. The teachers have been busy planning fun activities for all to enjoy.
This summer will seem a little more normal for our students as we have invited in-house guests once again to come to our school and perform for us. We are looking forward to having Mad Science, Yogi Dance, Ken Kaplan, Briar Bush, and Zoo on Wheels visit us. We also have a musical duo coming and a magician.
The older children will have the opportunity to visit parks to play games and enjoy a picnic lunch. Water Play will also be a big part of camp. Who doesn’t like to get outside and run through a sprinkler on those very warm days?
In addition to all of the above, we will once again have our “Crazy” days. We will sponsor a crazy hat day, inside out days, backwards days, color days, and special treat days. Camp is meant to be fun, and we know how to have FUN! Of course there will be some learning going on as well. Summer is a great time to explore nature, grow things, learn about different places-and even visit them virtually. And let’s not forget about our K-Enrichment Program that will be helping our students prepare for next year. They will learn and review so much yet have plenty of time to kick back with everyone else to enjoy all of the camp’s special activities. It sounds like the perfect summer!
