From Our Principal:
April was a busy month, but we all had such fun celebrating the Week of the Young Child, our Annual Ladybug Release and Earth Day. Our students learned all about the life cycle of ladybugs and ways to keep our Earth clean.
As we move into May, we are looking forward to celebrating our dedicated teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week and planning for a fun-filled summer.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Please join us in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2nd-May 6th). Our enthusiastic and caring teachers make learning fun every day for our students, and so this week, we get an opportunity to let them know just how much we appreciate all of the extra little things that they do really mean. If you would like to do something special for your child’s teachers or the teachers in total, please let me know if I can help you in any way. It is nice if things are spread out over the week or if you join with others. A simple picture from your child saying “thank you” is very nice too. Thank you!
Happy Mother’s Day!
And let’s not forget, this Sunday, May 8th is another very special day. Happy Mother’s Day to all of our special moms and grandmothers for all they do every day to sweeten our lives with love and caring. You all are amazing!
Dates to Remember:
May2nd-May 6th-Teacher Appreciation Week
May8th-Happy Mother’s Day
May 30th-School Closed for Memorial Day
Have a safe and wonderful holiday. Let us not forget the brave souls who fought for our freedom and still do today. Thank you to all those who have served or continue to serve our country.
