Note from Your Principal
February was a great month at our school! We had some warm weather days allowing us to get outside more. We held Parent-Teacher Conferences. We celebrated Valentine’s Day and our teachers.
In anticipation of spring, our teachers are busy planning meaningful learning activities that will help students gain an appreciation for the changing seasons. We will be sowing seeds to plant outside in April. We will have a new school pet.
We are celebrating Dr. Seuss along with National Reading Month this March. Please check out our calendar for more information.
Lots of excitement here at CBA!
Thank you,
Ms. Tiffany, Principal

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss
March is National Reading Month
National Reading Month was started to motivate Americans of all ages to read every day. Reading is fun and has many benefits, regardless of your age. Many studies have shown that reading is a key component of education and professional development.
National Reading Month begins with Dr. Seuss’s birthday, and we are honoring him and celebrating this month with many special dress up days and activities at our school. Students and their families are encouraged to read at home each night. A reading log is available at the front desk to win prizes. Students should turn in reading logs to Ms. Tiffany each Friday in March for their prizes.
Parent Survey
Our enrolled parent survey launches March 16th. The survey provides the opportunity for you to give us feedback anonymously on our strengths and areas we can work on. Please keep an eye out!
Graduation Plans (early June)
We are starting to plan for the graduation for our Prek 2 students. We will be doing a live event at the school.Evening or weekend dates are being considered. If parents have a strong feeling either way I would love feedback. (tiffany.stillwell@chesterbrookacademy.com)
