Dear Families,
We hope that each one of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. It’s hard to believe that December is already here! We are very excited to share this holiday season with our students and our teachers have been busy planning exciting lessons that will teach them all about different winter holidays, customs, and traditions. Each classroom will have their holiday parties on Friday, December 17th. Please be on the lookout for more information from your child’s teacher.
We wanted to thank each one of you who contributed to our annual Food Drive. Thanks to your generosity we were able to donate over 600 items to the Angels & Sparrows Food Pantry. This month we are collecting items for children of Lincoln County through Lincoln County Christian Ministries. There is a tree in our lobby that has angels on it and on each angel is the age of a child to buy for. There is additional information on the back of each angel as well. All donations should be returned to us and placed under the tree by December 8th.
We will be having a holiday spirit week December 20th-23rd. We will be closed on December 24th and December 31st. Please see the monthly calendar on our website for more information on events happening in December.
As a reminder, our students are given outside time daily. Please make sure they are dressed appropriately for the weather. We also suggest making sure that your child has at least two weather appropriate changes of clothes in their cubby at all times.
As always, we appreciate your continued support and dedication to our school. We wish you and your family a very happy and healthy holiday season!
Sincerely,
Lindsey DeLair
