A Note From Our Head of SC Schools
We hope your children enjoyed their fall lessons, pumpkin themed activities and classroom celebrations last month. Seeing our students enjoy their Halloween costumes and fall attire is one of the highlights of the year for us. Thank you for allowing us to be part of these special occasions! Thank you for coming out in full force to support our Trunk or Treat and making this an amazing event for our children!
This month we are focusing on gratitude and connecting with others. We have many special activities planned for our students and are looking forward to sharing photos with you all on Links 2 Home. As always, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Andrea Williams
November 8 – National Parents as Teacher Day
If your schedule allows and you are able to be a guest teacher during circle time and can host story time that would be amazing! We will provide a zoom link and you can have your family members join us as well. You can see your child during circle time and read a story to their friends. The time would be
9:30- 9:50. We know you all are busy however, we also know you would love a sneak peek as well and any opportunity to be a part of your child’s day. If you are able to sign up, let a member of the Admin team know.
Book theme suggestions:
- Character building
- Thanksgiving
- Multi-Cultural books
I have a few books I can share if you don’t have one and would like to participate

Teachers
We’ll hold a pot luck for the teachers this day as well, if you’re able to donate drinks, and desserts that would be great!
Parent Survey Reminder
Our enrolled parent survey launched in October. If you have not received the email, please let us know so we can request it be resent. The survey provides the opportunity for you to give us feedback anonymously on our strengths and areas we can work on. Survey closes November 19.
I’m very pleased with the feedback so far. We have areas to work on and rest assured we will do so. Most of the feedback is centered on staffing, but just the same man have expressed understanding knowing this is not limited to our schools. The labor issues are being felt across the country across all industries.
We’ll get some more care calls going and zoom in’s so that we can help eliminate or minimize the feeling of being disconnected.
You can also request a conference call or zoom meeting with your child’s teachers to connect. Let an Admin member know and we’ll be more than happy to set up the meeting. Typically between, 12-2 are the best times for conferences.
