Celebrating Earth Day provided our teachers with many opportunities to relate science, math and literacy concepts to everyday life. As we move into May, we are getting our classrooms ready for a summer of additional enrichment. We can’t wait to spend summer with you and your children!

Teacher Appreciation Week
We love our teachers! Check out these great activities we have to celebrate them the week of May 3rd!
Monday– You make us Bloom- bring your teacher a flower or something with floral print.
Tuesday-Teachers are Noteworthy- Have your child write or draw a picture on how their teacher has impacted their life. Parents you may assist with this.
Wednesday- Supply them with Thanks- Pick up any supply you think your teacher will need for her classroom.
Thursday- My Teachers’ a Treat- Treat your teacher with a snack, beverage or candy.
Friday– Thanks are in the CARDS- bring you teacher a gift card for a massage, restaurant or local store.
Health and Safety Measures
The health and safety of our children and families is always our highest priority. To mitigate the risks of COVID-19 while children are in our care, we have adopted additional health and safety measures based on CDC guidelines, state and local regulations, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Our school does not follow the local elementary school schedule as we are open more days each year. For the 2021-2022 school year the days we are closed are:

Links 2 Home App Usage
We know that summer is a busy time for our families, and want to communicate school happenings as clearly as possible to ensure that no one is left out. Daily reports are sent via email each day, but our Links 2 Home app keeps all school communications in one place and is always accessible. The app also allows to you communicate absences to your child’s teacher, leave drop-off notes, and read teacher and administrative notes in detail.
If you’re not a current app user, we encourage you to visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the app today. You will need to login with the email address you use for Alma. Please let us know if you have issues logging into Links 2 Home!

Do you know anyone that has recently had a baby, relocated to the area, or is seeking a new preschool for their child? We are always happy to meet the friends of our current families, and offer a free week of tuition for any current parent referral that enrolls in our school. See the front desk for details!
