Dear Families,
We wanted to start out by wishing you a happy spring! The nice weather seems to be sticking around for the most part and our students are busy learning about all things spring related. We cannot wait to watch our student blossom this month!
April is going to be a fun and busy month! During the week of April 12th -16th we will be celebrating early childhood education, young children, families, teachers, and our community for Week of the Young Child. We have many fun activities planned all week for Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday and Family Friday! We will send more information via Links 2 Home soon. On April 22nd we will be celebrating Earth Day with a ladybug release. This will take place during each class’ outdoor time. We will be sure to send many pictures of these events! You can see all of the important dates for April on the monthly calendar.
With the weather change, we have already started to send home winter clothing and are asking that you send in at least two weather appropriate changes of clothes and a spare pair of shoes. We will be sending home sunscreen information and permission slips as well. Please make sure that all items brought in from home are labeled with your child’s first and last name.
Summer Camp registration is currently underway. We hope that your family will be joining us! We are so excited that this summer we will be allowing outside vendors to return (for outside activities) and we are currently in the process of planning a fun-filled summer. Extra summer camp activities will be planned for ages two and up and we will send out the calendars when they are finalized.
We wanted to thank each and every one of you who have registered your child for the next school year. Your continued dedication to our school means so much and we appreciate each one of our families!
With Friendly Greetings,
Ms. Chandrea Wilson
