We hope that you all had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving with loved ones. Thank you so much for donating to Feeding South Florida. We were able to donate $300 to families in need. As the winter holidays approach, we have many special activities planned for our students and look forward to spending the season with them. We are excited to do our third annual Giving Tree. This year we are supporting the National Youth Advocate Program. This program supports foster children in Broward County. We know our school family will participate in the joy of giving during the season. Our young children need to develop an understanding of how it feels to do for others. What an important lesson for them to learn! Have your child take a tag from our tree and give a child some extra cheer.
We are also having a classroom door decorating contest. Each classroom is decorating a door and you’ll have the opportunity to vote. The winning classroom will have an ice cream party! Keep reading for important winter and holiday reminders in this newsletter. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Happy holidays!
Sincerely,
Kim Hage
