Links 2 Home App Usage
We know that these are busy times for our families, and want to communicate school happenings as clearly as possible to ensure that no one is left out. Daily reports are sent via email each day, but our Links 2 Home app keeps all school communications in one place and is always accessible. The app also allows to you communicate absences to your child’s teacher, leave drop-off notes, and read teacher and administrative notes in detail.
If you’re not a current app user, we encourage you to visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the app today. You will need to login with the email address you use for Alma. Please let us know if you have issues logging into Links 2 Home!
Winter Clothing Reminder
If you’ve not already done so, please check your child’s cubby to ensure they have an extra set of weather appropriate clothes. Students also need to come to school each day with a jacket and dressed warmly enough to play outside for part of the day. We want everyone to be able to participate!
Holiday Closures
Our school is closed on December 25th for Christmas Day and January 1st for New Year’s Day.
Classroom Holiday Celebrations—Monday, December 21st
Through the month of December, our classes will be learning about different winter holidays and customs. On Monday, December 21st, our students will showcase their learning and the holiday décor they’ve created with a classroom celebration. Since we are unable to do our Annual Winter Wonderland program, along with our celebrations our older classrooms will do a Holiday ZOOM-IN with current families. The students will perform a holiday song for their families. We will miss having parents attend this year’s holiday celebrations and know that you all will enjoy the holiday crafts that your child brings home!
Holiday Giving Project
For this year’s holiday project we will be doing an Angel Tree. Students will be encouraged to help a child in need. Dates TBA.
