Dear Parents,
November seemed to fly by. We hope everyone had a wonderful, relaxing, and enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday and that you are now preparing for the busy holiday season ahead. Our Scholastic Book Fair was a major success, we made over $1,500 in book sales, which means more books for the classrooms. We are thrilled to enter the last month of the year filled of learning and exploration in all our classrooms. Be sure to check out our calendar of events for this month to stay up to date. December is the month to learn about the holidays! Children will learn about the different holidays celebrated around the world; Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza, and other seasonal celebrations. More specifically, preschoolers will discuss the varying traditions of each holiday, along with creating decorations, learning fun songs, and participating in read alouds to gain more information about the celebrations that will promote discussions. Do you have a holiday tradition that you and your family celebrate? Please share so we can gain more insight on traditions that are celebrated within our school families. It is our wish that your Christmas will be filled with happy memories and the remembrance of the true meaning of the season. We wish you and your family a holiday of safety, health, and much happiness. Happy Holidays and a peaceful New Year to all.
Sincerely,
Angeline Marseille
