It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!! We are so excited for the month of December. December is a time of traditions, celebrations, family and friends even if it looks a bit different this year! Throughout the month students will be learning about all of the holiday symbols, what a tradition is, and sharing their own traditions with their classmates. Students will enjoy learning about the meaning of the holidays and embracing the concept of giving.
Our school will close early on Thursday, December 24th and we are closed all day on Friday, December 25th. (More information to come about our early closure on Christmas Eve!) We are also closed on January 1st, 2021 so that our staff can spend New Year’s Day with their families.
In case of bad weather, please look for an email from Links2Home concerning any delays and/or closures. You can also check out our website or go to Channel 6 ABC and look for Chesterbrook Academy-Arrandale.
We will continue to go outside as long as the temperature stays above 32 degrees. Please make sure you have a warm coat, hat, and gloves here for your child. Also, please check that your child’s spare clothing is size and season appropriate! We recommend having a spare mask or two for children ages 2 and older to keep in their cubby just in case.
Have A Safe And Happy Holiday Season and And Best Wishes For A Happy and Healthy 2021~
