A Note From Our Principal
We hope your children enjoyed their fall lessons, pumpkin themed activities and Halloween celebrations! Seeing our students enjoy their Halloween costumes and fall attire is one of the highlights of the year for us. Thank you for allowing us to be part of these special occasions! This month we are focusing on gratitude and connecting with others. We have many special activities planned for our students and we are looking forward to sharing photos with you through Links 2 Home. As always, it is an honor to watch your children learn and grow!
Sincerely,
Lisa Delaney
National Young Reader’s Day
Young Readers Day takes place on November 11, 2020. It is celebrated each year during the second week in November. Young Readers Day is a chance to celebrate reading and the love of literacy with our children! In the past, we looked forward to having our families join us in the classrooms to read to your child’s classmates. This year, we are approaching it differently. Please share your child’s favorite book title with us through Links 2 Home and we will try to find the books on-line to share in the classroom throughout the week!
Thanksgiving Celebrations
Chesterbrook Academy at Ellis Preserve will be focusing on Gratitude and Thankfulness all month long as we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday! Our classrooms will be celebrating Thanksgiving with a special craft and treat on Tuesday, November 24th.

Our parents are vital partners in helping us to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the students in our school. The most important thing you can do to assist us in creating a healthy environment is to keep your child home if they are ill. This reduces the spread of illness and allows your child to fully recuperate. For more information please see our Parent Handbook or reach out to a member of our administrative team.
