October!
“The month is October.
The air is turning cold.
The leaves are all changing
To red and to gold.
I see many pumpkins-
All sizes and shapes.
I can’t wait to get one
and give it a happy face!”

Yes, it is that time of year when so many fun and wonderful things are starting to happen. Outside we see so many beautiful changes in nature, and we can’t help but get excited about the holidays coming up and all that is in store. Inside, the children are busy, busy, busy! They have been learning new letters, words, numbers, songs, enjoying their new friends and old ones too! They have been reading and listening to exciting stories and making crafts.
The teachers and I miss getting together with you all and having our Annual Back to School Night, but we would like to offer you the opportunity to meet with your child’s teachers virtually if you would like. The teachers are willing to have one on one zoom calls or a joint class call. Just let us know your preference, and we will make it happen.
Everyone has been doing very well with all of the new protocols and mask wearing which is a compliment to all of you. Children just take everything in stride and go with the flow. Thank you for all of the extras you are doing to help make this transition run as smoothly as it has.
We had our Licensing Inspection, and we passed with a 100% – no areas of non-compliance! Thank you to everyone for being so diligent about completing all forms when asked and getting them back to us in a very timely manner. Great job, Parents, Staff, and Students!!!!!
The car line is going well. We do have to ask that everyone continue to stay in line and not pull into a parking space. We want to keep everyone safe; and, if a car pulls into a space, it puts you and the children in danger of crossing in front of another car pulling forward. Also, please remember that our hours are 7:00 am- 5:30 pm. Thank you.
Another thing to start thinking about is updating your child’s change of clothes to match the weather. Remember that a jacket may be needed as well as a long sleeved shirt and long pants. Socks and underwear should also be included.
To answer some questions that are being asked. Tuition is charged on Sunday or Monday. If you are paying through your ALMA account, you need that invoice in order to pay, so payment cannot be made until you see that invoice. As a reminder, all tuition checks should be received the Friday before the week that tuition is due or on Monday of the current week. ACH payments are pulled Monday night. Credit cards are usually charged on Mondays.
