Dear Parents,
Through all our crazy circumstances this year we still had a lot of fun this summer, but as usual, it went by way too fast. In a few weeks we will begin our 2020/2021 school year journey. On that note, you will be receiving a notice regarding our upcoming VPK Meet & Greet event. This will be a virtual event because at this current time no parents are allowed into the building. During this event you will receive introduction videos to share with your children so they can see their classroom and meet the teachers. You will also receive information regarding uniforms, supply lists and what to do for the first day of school.
August kicks off our 11th school year serving children and families in Port St. Lucie! We are very excited about the many new families joining our school community and appreciate the commitment and trust our long term families have shown us since opening our doors in 2010. Our students who have graduated are well prepared for what lies ahead in their educational journey, and we look forward to hearing about all their success in Kindergarten. This year we have over 70 new families joining our school. Chesterbrook Academy is truly the place to be if you want your child prepared for Kindergarten. Our Links to Learning curriculum is meeting each child’s needs, and our teachers are implementing it beautifully!
During the school year, parent information will be updated regularly on our school website as well as through our Links 2 Home daily email communication. Our mission is to keep you connected with all that is going on in your child’s classroom and school community.
Together, we embark on yet another year of learning fun! Thank you for choosing Chesterbrook Academy for your child’s early education.
Best regards,
Jami Melnick, Principal
