It’s hard to believe that it is already August. Summer has moved so fast but we are packing in as much fun as possible! Our children have really enjoyed weekly water play days. Students explored photography, learned about music and instruments and did some fun S.T.E.A.M. activities. It has been exciting to create these memories and make new ones as well!
We know it has been difficult for everyone to not see their child’s teachers on a daily basis. Zoom meetings are available for you to meet with your child’s teacher! Keep an eye out for the weekly email with the sign up page. Heather will email you a link to a Zoom meeting and you can speak directly to your child’s teacher during a designated date and time. You can also communicate with the staff using the Links2Home app. Please let us know if you need assistance!
Please remember to apply sunscreen daily to all exposed skin. The children will continue to go outside as long as the temperature remains below 90 degrees. The teachers will reapply the sunscreen before going outside in the afternoon. (Weather permitting and temp below 90 degrees)
Even though the summer fun continues this month, we are working diligently to get our students and teachers ready for the new school year. Many of our students will be moving classrooms this month. Details regarding new teachers and classroom schedules will be shared with those who are impacted.
We hope you enjoy the rest of the summer! It will be a busy month of fun, transitions, and preparations for all!
