Well, we are certainly in the midst of summer and in full swing of it. We are having a great time teaching and learning with our students! This month we are celebrating Independence Day and campers are jumping into action, playing games, exploring nature, being creative, and participating in other fun summer-themed activities. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds for us. August is enrollment and re-enrollment month so we will be welcoming a lot of new families and preparing for the upcoming school year. Children will be moving up as they transition to new classrooms and teachers will prepare for new students joining the class. Even though some things may look different when it comes to school this fall, one thing will remain the same which is the level of care that we provide to our children.
Every year, Chesterbrook partners with Alex’s Lemonade Stand as our community outreach, and this year we are shaking things up a bit. It’s that time again where we kick off our annual summer giving initiative and because many communities are in dire need of support, we are broadening this year’s Kids Helping Kids campaign to include more than just organizations that benefit children. We’re calling it Kids Helping Communities! We are setting up a virtual school drive as we partner with Feeding America the week of July 20th-31st.
We as a school are continuing to promote healthy hygiene practices such as hand washing and employees wearing face-covering, intensified cleaning & disinfection of the classrooms. We are following best practices that align with recommendations from the CDC, Florida Department of Health, and Palm Beach County Executive Orders. Thank you for your partnership in ensuring the safety of our children and staff.
Sincerely,
Angeline Marseille
