A Note From Our Principal
Welcome Back!!!!! We are all so excited to be back in our school and see your beautiful faces again. We missed our children terribly, so thank you for sharing your precious ones with us again. We also want to thank you for the great job you have been doing each day with our morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up routines. Your cooperation and support through this ever evolving situation is and has been greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Summer is in full swing, and we are having a great time teaching and learning with our students. This month we will be celebrating Independence Day with red, white, and blue crafts; patriotic songs, and even a mini parade! The children will have an extra big surprise when representatives from our New Britain Township Police Department and Chalfont Fire Company make a special appearance! The children are making special treat bags to deliver to them and will be prepared to wave their flags when they arrive in our parking lot. We are so fortunate to have local First Responders who care so much about our school and children and always respond to our requests so graciously. Parents are also welcome to come participate in our celebration as long as we are all wearing masks and remain socially distant. I am sure a round of applause from the families would be greatly appreciated at this time. Please let us know if you can join us on Wednesday, July 1st at 10:00 am. You could even do a drive-by with a thank you sign or a tailgate appearance. We are proud to show support to our local community helpers who serve us each and every day. Tell your friends and neighbors. Maybe they would like to join us in the Reverse Drive-by, returning the favor to our police and fire departments.
Water play is always a big hit in the summer, and this year is no different. We are using multiple sprinklers, pool noodles, and other creative ideas to make it even more fun for everyone. Our water play days are Tuesday and Thursday. Please make sure your child comes to school wearing his/her bathing suit, has closed toe shoes that can get wet, a towel, and a bag to put the wet clothes in for transporting home again. As always, please make sure that the first coat of sunscreen is applied before they arrive. The teachers will apply the second coat before the children go outside again in the afternoon. We have also been asked to have each child wear a t-shirt over his/her bathing suit for added protection. Thank you!
Our Campers are keeping busy making cards and crafts for our Grand Friends at New Seasons. We thought that maybe they could use a little cheering up and a little something to brighten their rooms. They also have been keeping very active designing their own special game park complete with volleyball, soccer, badminton, tennis, pickle ball, and basketball! And did you know they took a virtual trip to Ireland last week?! I think there are more exciting virtual trips in store. I can’t wait to hop on board and go with them!

With summer here and states beginning to ease restrictions, you might begin thinking about playdates for your child again.
