A Note from Our Principal
The year is off to a great start so far and we’re enjoying spending the winter season with you and your children. This time of year, our students spend extra time participating in our SPARK physical fitness program, ensuring that they are able to work on their gross motor skills no matter the weather. We’re having a great time jumping, dancing and playing together! Speaking of dancing…. don’t forget to purchase your tickets for the Sweetheart Dance on Friday February 7th at the CBA Oaks Elementary School. This is a very fun night enjoyed by all!
Superbowl Sunday – Don’t forget to bring in your soup to cast vote on who is going to be the winner! If as a school we pick the correct winner, we will celebrate with a Snow Cone party on Monday afternoon! Currently, it looks like the families in our school think the Chiefs are going to win the Souper Bowl.
On Monday, February 17th, President’s Day, our staff will be participating in their annual In-Service Training here at our school. Please remember on this day we do not have care for the children. This day allows the staff members to renew their CPR and First Aid Certification, learn about new initiatives and teaching strategies for the students in their classroom and collaborate with their co-workers.
Sincerely,
Donna Baus, M.Ed.
Priority Enrollment for the 2019-2020 School Year and Summer Camp
We have e-mailed the paperwork for the Summer Camp program. Miss Katie is working hard on planning the fieldtrips and in-house visitors. Please send us your camp reservations as soon as possible, so we can ensure your spot prior to us welcoming the new families that are contacting us from outside of our school.
Towards the end of February, we will be rolling out the information regarding the Early Bird Re-Enrollment process for the 2020-2021 School Year. Reminders will be sent out later.
Class Valentine’s Day Celebrations
Our classes will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on February 14th. Please check your child’s classroom door for more details. Most of the classrooms will be asking for special treat donations. If you cannot donate at this time, that is fine. However, please sign the door permission slip for your child to be able to enjoy the special foods and treats!
Love Grams
The PTO is doing their annual Love Gram sale. Each love gram is $1.00 each. All love grams will be sent home. The children will not be opening them or consuming them here at school.
We love our parents!
Do you know any parents who have recently moved to the area, are expecting a baby or are unhappy with their current preschool? We value our current parents and would love more families like yours at our school! Refer a new family to our school and your family could receive a free week of tuition. For more information, see Donna, Katie, Kayla or Bernadine.
