I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and enjoyed good times with family and friends. I also hope you had the opportunity to rest up a little as the winter holiday rush of activities begins!
The children and staff have been rehearsing for our Annual Snowflake Festival which will be held on Friday, December 13th. We are planning on having it inside and at staggered times like we did for our Spring Concert. Please stay tuned for details about your child’s classroom’s time.
The Kindergarten’s Food Drive was a success once again and was greatly appreciated by those who received it. The Annual Pajama Drive is underway now and will be for the next two weeks. Your contributions always bring smiles to the children who benefit from your generosity and gratitude from the moms in need of help. Last year we reached our goal of 100 pajamas. It would be super if we could match that same goal or exceed it by 5 more. Please understand that your participation is completely voluntary. It is never our intention to pressure anyone or cause anyone undue hardship. We strive only to help our community and to help show our students how they can help others too.
As a head’s up, we will be closing at 3 pm on Christmas Eve, December 24th and will be closed on Wednesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas Day. We are also closed on New Year’s Day.
Just a reminder, any school closings or delays will be announced on ABC 6 as well as through Tadpoles. So when in doubt, please check your computer or tv for any news regarding Chesterbrook Academy – Chalfont. We try to be open, but our first priority is always the safety of our families and staff. Thank you in advance for your understanding when these situations present themselves. We appreciate it.
