Dear Chesterbrook Families,
It’s hard to believe that November is here already! We have had a great start to the school year and our students have been fully immersed in our curriculum and learning about Fall, and all that comes along with the season change.
We wanted to thank all of you who joined us at our annual Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat. We had a great turnout! We really enjoyed spending time with our CBA families and watching all our students have so much fun together! We did miss everyone who was unable to attend and hope to see you at our upcoming events.
As a reminder, we will be closed on November 11th (Veteran’s Day) for our Professional Development Day. We will also be closed on November 28th and 29th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Our annual Thanksgiving Feast will be held the Friday before, on November 22nd. You should have received an invitation for that in your email. Looking ahead, our annual Jingle Bell Jam will be held on Friday, December 13th.
As a reminder, even though the weather is getting cooler, our students will still be enjoying the outdoors daily. Please take a moment to check their cubby and make sure they have at least two weather appropriate changes of clothes. It’s always good to have an extra set of shoes in there too. Also, rest items should be taken home every Friday to be washed.
With Thanksgiving approaching we are reminded to take a moment to be thankful for each little thing in our lives. We are especially thankful to be a part of your family’s life and to spend each day growing with your child(ren). We hope that you have a great month!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jac-Lynn Johnson
Mrs. Lindsey DeLair
Mrs. Kristie Salmon
