A Note From Our Principal,
Fall is in full swing and our students are enjoying the extra outdoor time, nature walks and seasonal curriculum activities. Our ancillary programs will be back up and running starting the week of 10/7. More information and a sign-up sheet will be available at our Back to School Night scheduled for 10/2 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. We will begin planning for our annual holiday giving community support initiative soon, so stay tuned for more information! As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Fall Cubby Refresh
Our teachers have many fun outdoor activities planned for our students this month. Please check your child’s cubby and ensure that their extra set of clothes is weather appropriate so that your child can participate in everything planned for their class.
Your Opinion Matters!
Our parent survey is launching soon and we’d appreciate you spending a few minutes to take the survey. You will receive an invitation by email on 10/2. Please let us know if you do not receive it!
Pumpkin Patch
Students and teachers are hard at work coming up with ideas to decorate their classroom pumpkins. The pumpkins will be on display in our Chesterbrook Pumpkin Patch from October 28th – November 1st
Halloween Parties & Parade (Weather Permitting)
Our classrooms will be celebrating Halloween together with crafts and classroom parties on October 31st. Your child has the option of coming into school on Thursday, October 31st wearing their Halloween costume. All classroom parties will be held during morning snack and a parade (weather permitting) will be held at 3:30 pm in our outdoor courtyard. Parents are welcome to attend. Be sure to stop at our Fall photo booth for a photo opportunity with your child. Be on the look out for a sign up sheet later in the month. We can’t wait to see all of our students in costume!
Fall Fundraiser- Charleston Wrap
Only with the help of caring parents like you will our school raise the extra resources we need. Thank you for doing your part and sharing your time to help our students! Our Fundraiser will run from Monday, September 30th until Friday, October 11th. To begin, REGISTER your student at www.charlestonwrapstore.com and use the school code: 12051.
Ancillary Activities
To supplement our Links to Learning Curriculum, we offer a variety of optional ancillary activities that your child can participate in throughout the school year. These programs are taught by outside instructors who specialize in the activity at hand, and are a great opportunity to allow your child to explore his/her interests without the hassle of having to drive to other locations after a long day of work. Ancillary activities do not require a commitment, so you can join in or opt out anytime.
For the 2019-2020 school year, classes are $17.00 per week per class. To register your child for a class, please print and complete the Ancillary Sign-Up Form and return to the front desk.
