Fall is in full swing and our students are enjoying the extra outdoor time, nature walks and seasonal curriculum activities. October is one of the busiest months of the school year and also kicks-off the holiday season here at Chesterbrook Academy. Our most popular school event is “Trunk or Treat.” Families and friends are welcome to join us for an evening of safe trick or treating, food, face painting, and a live band for some Halloween dancing with the kids! Trunk or Treat will be Friday October, 18th from 6:30 – 8pm.
Our Soccer, Dance, Karate, and Fun & Fit enrichment programs are also back up and running, and we are enjoying watching our students learn and grow in their extracurricular activities. Please let the front desk know if you would like to sign your child up for one of these great classes.
Throughout the year we host a variety of national fundraisers. We have started the Charleston Wrap fundraiser, filled with gift ideas for the holidays. Please see the display in the lobby. These fundraisers offer quality products and services to our families while benefiting our school program. Although we appreciate your enthusiastic participation, please do not feel obligated.
As early childhood educators, it is gratifying to provide an environment that allows children the freedom to discover and learn in a supportive and nurturing way. We appreciate that you have chosen us and thank you for your ongoing support and trust! When parents and teachers work as partners, the learning experience becomes richer and more meaningful to the child.
Sincerely,
Kim Hage
