Dear Parents,
Thank you all for your participation in our Kids Helping Kids initiative this summer! Our Alex’s Lemonade Stand was a success. The school age campers sold lemonade in the school lobby and our parents generously donated. We are grateful for the opportunity to watch our students serve others these past few weeks and appreciate the role you all had in this.
We only have a couple more weeks of summer, and our teachers are hard at work preparing our classrooms for the new school year. Many of our students will be transitioning into new classrooms this month, and classroom specific information will be sent home soon. Most of our transitioning students will visit their new classrooms and officially move on August 14th. School begins on Wednesday August 14th for our Pre-Kindergarten classes. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns in the interim.
We will be offering trial classes of all of our ancillaries during the last week of August. Your child will have an opportunity to try dance, karate, soccer, and Fun-n-Fit. If you’d like your child to join a class after the trial, please see the front desk.
We are excited for our new school year to begin!
Sincerely,
Kim Hage, Principal
Splash Day Reminders
We only have one splash day left in the month of August. The Fantastic Fire Department will visit the school on Monday August 5th. As a reminder, students should come to school in their swimsuit (with swim diaper where applicable) and with a towel and a change of dry clothes. Please apply sunscreen to your child before you drop them off.
