A Note From Our Principal,
Thank you all for your participation in our Kids Helping Kids initiative this summer. We collected 52 toys that were delivered to INOVA Children’s Hospital. We are grateful for the opportunity to watch our students serve others these past few weeks and appreciate the role you all had in this.
We still have a few more weeks of summer, but our teachers are hard at work preparing our classrooms for the new school year. Many of our students will be transitioning into new classrooms this month, and classroom specific information will be sent home soon. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns in the interim.

Vacation Reminder
Please let us know in advance if you are planning on using your vacation credit to ensure that your account is not charged incorrectly. Thank you!
End of Summer Party
Our annual end of summer party will be held on August 23rd from 2:30-4:30 p.m. There will be crafts and family games. We hope you will attend!
Splash Day Reminders
We have two Splash Days planned for the month of August. As a reminder, students should come to school in their swimsuit (with swim diaper where applicable) and with a towel and a change of dry clothes. Please apply sunscreen to your child before you drop them off. Our last splash days of the summer are:
Summer Camp Reminders (Header 2)Each school-age parent should have received a copy of our summer calendar listing all field trips and approximate departure and arrival times. We cannot accommodate any more changes to specific days or trade one day for another as we wind down to the end of summer. On field trip days, campers should arrive at school wearing their camp t-shirt with sunscreen already applied. Campers should have a reusable water bottle at camp each day. Closed toed, comfortable shoes are required for all field trips except those involving water.

- August 30th—Parent folders go home
- September 2nd—CLOSED FOR LABOR DAY
