Dear Chesterbrook Families,
Summer is officially here, and our summer camp is in full swing! Our students have already enjoyed a visit from Fish the Magish and the Kool Kat ice cream truck, among other fun in house field trips and activities. We cannot wait to enjoy the rest of the summer learning while having fun!
If your family has any vacations planned this summer, please mark your child’s absence on the Links to Home app. This can also be done if your child is out sick for a day or if you plan to bring them in late or pick them up earlier. By doing so we have an accurate count for our meals and summer activities.
We wanted to thank all of you who have donated to our fundraiser so far this month. We have already raised enough money to sponsor 32 duffel bags to give to children in foster care. We have also received a generous donation of over 30 duffel bags from one of our parents. We will be filling these as well to deliver to a local foster agency.
Here are a few dates to keep in mind:
July 3rd: Wear Red, White, & Blue
July 4th: We are closed for Independence Day
July 5th: Pajama Day
July 15th: Bake Sale in support of Together We Rise Fundraiser
Every Wednesday: Water Play Day
With Friendly Greetings,
Mrs. Jac-Lynn Johnson
Mrs. Lindsey DeLair
Mrs. Kristie Salmon
