Summer is here! May was a great month with many things going on. We all celebrated our wonderful teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week during the week of May 6-10. We held an Open House on Tuesday, May 7 from 5 pm-7 pm for all prospective families and had a great turnout! We sincerely hope that all of our mothers had a wonderful Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12, and we hope they enjoyed muffins for moms here at the school the Friday before. Our Daisy Dance recital was held on Monday, May 20, and it went wonderfully with my parents in attendance. Everyone enjoyed a nice three-day weekend in observance of Memorial Day. Our PreK2 class participated in a Spelling Bee as well on Friday, May 31, and everyone got medals. Great job!
June will also be another busy month with all summer camp activities starting up. Monday, June 10 marks for the first day of our Elementary and Preschool Summer Camp activities! Please remember that your Summer Camp Activity Fee is due Friday, June 28.
We will hold graduation for our rising-Kindergarteners on Thursday, June 13 at 6:30 pm here at the school. We will have a 40 minute ceremony followed by refreshments and pictures. Congrats to the Class of 2019! Friday, June 14 is Flag Day, a day commemorating the adoption of the flag of the United States of America. Sunday, June 16 is Father’s Day, and we hope that all our Dads have a fun and relaxing Father’s Day. Also on Friday, June 14, we will have Donuts for Dads, and we hope all of our Dads can join us for donuts and OJ when dropping off the children here. Finally, Links to Learning folders will go home on the last day of June, Friday, June 28.

If there’s one thing parents love to do, it’s talk about their children’s successes. When friends ask you about your child’s experiences at Chesterbrook Academy, what type of success stories do you share? Do you mention the personal and educational discoveries your child is making thanks to our advanced curriculum? Do you talk about the new levels of self and social confidence your child has gained thanks to our encouraging atmosphere? Whatever glowing reports you deliver about how your child is growing with his or her education, we couldn’t be more appreciative. In fact, we’d like to show you just how thankful we are for your endorsements.
For every new child you refer who enrolls at our school for three months, you’ll receive one FREE week of tuition for your child.
It’s our way of saying thanks for doing what comes naturally – singing the praises of your child and sharing your experiences with the Chesterbrook Academy difference. If you have any questions about how you can participate in our Parent Referral Program, please contact an administrator.
