It is hard to believe that another school year has come to an end, but it was a great year filled with many learning experiences for the children and opportunities for growth for everyone.
Summer is right around the corner and so is our Summer Camp. If you haven’t filled out your papers for Summer Camp, please try to get them completed and turned in as soon as possible so we can make plans to accommodate the number of children expected each week. The Camp Calendar is done and looks great. Thank you, Ms. Mueller, for all of your hard work organizing the activities and calendar for us.
If you are planning a summer vacation, please fill out a Vacation Request Form or send me an email if you plan on using your vacation credit. We also like to know if we should expect your child to be present or absent on any given day.
As the weather gets warmer, please consider changing out your child’s extra clothes in his or her cubby to something more appropriate. It is also time for sunscreen, so please make sure your child’s teacher has a completed Sunscreen Form and Sunscreen Lotion with your child’s name on the container. Thank you!
Water Play days are a lot of fun for the kids. Please remember to let them wear their bathing suits to school with a cover-up or shirt. It is important to remember a change of clothes for them as well, including underwear, socks and shoes! Water shoes are great for use under the sprinklers as they offer the children the most protection, but they are not desirable for regular playground play.
