Greetings Chesterbrook Academy Families,
Thank you all for helping our school celebrate Earth Day last month. Together students at our school released over 20,000 lady bugs into our ecosystem! We talked about how good they are for our gardens! We also planted an herb garden on each of our playgrounds which includes, sage, basil, dill, parsley, rosemary, and lavender! Celebrating Earth Day as a community provides our teachers with many opportunities to relate science, math and literacy concepts to everyday life. As we move into May, we are getting our classrooms ready for a summer of additional enrichment for our preschool students. We can’t wait to spend summer with you and your children and hope you’ll join us at the family activities we have planned this month!
