February was a great month at our school! Thank you to everyone who donated plants to the classrooms. We are always looking to bring nature inside when we cannot go outside. In anticipation of spring, our teachers are busy planning meaningful learning activities that will help students gain an appreciation for the changing seasons. In order to make the most of the next few months, we will be spending extra time outdoors so our students can interact with nature. Please make sure your child has weather appropriate outerwear for school each day. We would also like to thank everyone for their purchases made during our Scholastic Book Fair. We gained 1500 points which we used to purchase 100 Multicultural story books, 25 Read Aloud Story CD’s, and 50 Seasonal and Holiday Books as well as the colored sensory tiles in the lobby. Thank you so much for your support. We cannot wait to see what spring has in-store for us!
Sincerely,
Kerry Depka
