What a fantastic month! October was filled with lots of fall fun activities, pumpkin exploration and our annual Trick or Treat event with Eurofins! We want to thank all those who supported this event, from planning to walking with our children, to handing out the goodies at Eurofins. This is one of our favorite events with our sponsor. The children had a fantastic time, and the teachers appreciated all the support. This month our Whitney’s Warriors walked in the Light the Night event to honor our little friend and all those battling Leukemia.
What did our month look like:
Our little Infant friends had a blast exploring leaves, pumpkins and apples. The Toddler rooms had so much fun playing outdoors in fall leaves and talking about nocturnal animals. Our Beginner friends created a large pumpkin patch and learned a few new fall words in Spanish. Our new Intermediate classroom has been working on getting to know each other, their classroom and their materials. They have also been working on identifying their names, and growing together as a class. The Pre K A class has been working hard on developing their social emotional skills and working together as a team. They are learning new ways to compliment each other and filling each others “buckets.” Pre K B started a study on pumpkins and created a pumpkin patch in their dramatic play area. They also discussed Pablo Picasso and his painting style.
