Dear Chesterbrook Families,
We would like to start out by thanking everyone that made the Fall Festival possible and to all of our families that joined us this year. We had a great time and we love spending time with our Chesterbrook families!!
This month we will be doing our annual food drive. We will be collecting canned items and other non-perishable food items. Please be on the lookout for donation boxes outside of each classroom. All donations will be due by November 16th so that we can distribute them to local places in need.
We would love to invite all of you to attend our annual Thanksgiving Feast on Friday, November 16th during your child’s lunch time. Please be on the lookout for a sign-up sheet for this event. Also, as a reminder, we will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on November 22nd and 23rd. We will also be closed on the 12th for Professional Development Day.
With the arrival of the cooler weather please take a moment to check your child’s cubby to ensure that they have extra clothes and shoes that are weather appropriate. Also, we will be going outside in the morning and afternoon so make sure that your child has a jacket, hat, and gloves as well. You are more than welcome to leave extras of those at school.
As a reminder, all daily notes from us or your child’s teacher can be found on your Links 2 Home app. You can also use the app to enter notes for your child’s teacher and to mark your child absent for the day or for an upcoming vacation. We encourage all parents to mark your child as absent or let us know that they will be in late by 10 a.m. This helps us prepare for the day!
We are thankful to have such amazing families at our school and we encourage you to reach out at any time.
With Friendly Greetings,
Mrs. Jac-Lynn Johnson
