A Note From Our Principal,
Thank you all for your participation in our Halloween Trunk or Treat Event! We loved getting to spend extra time with you and seeing our students in their costumes is always memorable for our staff. This will be a busy month as we head into the holiday season and we are looking forward to spending it with you and your children. Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns or need additional care/schedule changes during this time of year. We are grateful for you all.
My trip to Las Vegas was filled with some great information. Our school was recognized for their NAEYC accreditation and our STAR 4 status. In the upcoming year we will be focusing on enhancing our Links to Learning curriculum and collaborating with other schools in our District to assist them in completing their NAEYC accreditation.
Just a reminder we will be closed this month for our November Staff In-Service Day. This is a great day for our teachers to meet with other teachers within our District and share their experiences, ideas and become trained on the newest Educational aspects our Education Department implements within our program.
We will also be closed on Thursday November 22, 2018 to Observe Thanksgiving Day. The following day Friday Thanksgiving Day we will be open modified hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) . Please notate on your child’s classroom door if they will be here the day before and after Thanksgiving. Our teachers would like to take time off and we are unable to provide this to them until we have accurate child counts, so we can maintain the classroom ratios.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Donna Baus, M.Ed.
