A Note From Our Principal
It’s finally fall and we can’t wait to experience everything this season has to offer with our students and families. We are looking forward to taking the learning outside and are planning special hands-on learning activities in all of our classrooms. This month we have several amazing family events as well. We hope you can attend!
Sincerely,
Carol
Weather Reminders
Despite the unpredictability of fall weather we try to ensure that our students spend time outdoors each day. Please make sure your child has a jacket available and a weather appropriate change of clothes in their cubby at all times. We have many fun outdoor activities scheduled for this month and don’t want any of our students to miss out!
Classroom Pumpkin Contest
This year each of our classrooms is decorating a pumpkin the week of October 1 – 5. On Monday, October 8 the pumpkins will be put on display in the front office where we will host a silent auction and the proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. Celebrate our students’ talents and support a wonderful cause.
Elementary School Holiday – October 8th
Our local public schools are closed on October 8th but we have a full day of themed fun planned for our school-age students. If your student would like to attend please reach out to us for details.
Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat
Fall Festival will be held on Thursday, October 11 from 10:00 – 11:00. Students will enjoy time outside playing fall games organized by one of our parent volunteers, Leslie Fisher! Thank you, Leslie. At the end of the day students will visit the pumpkin patch where they will select a pumpkin to take home!!
Our annual Trunk-or-Treat will be held on Friday, October 26 beginning at 4:00. Parents are encouraged to sign up in the office to decorate the trunk of their car. The cars will be judged by a panel and the “most creatively decorated” will win a weeks free tuition.
