A Message from the Principal:
August its a “Family Fun Month!”
Indeed, a “Family Fun Month” during summer time. This is when we spend extra time with our loved ones, still plan the last vacation trip -if we haven’t done it yet- and receive Fall ready for the school year!
Although we are a few weeks away from the school to start, we can still enjoy the fabulous weather while we have fun doing outside activities with your children. Yes, splash days for our preschoolers, naptime swimming for our school agers, sport days for all, and in our homes we can enjoy a yummy barbecue, go to the pool, and much, much more. Saturday, August 4th we are having our Center wide Open House from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Come bring your family, friends and neighbors and if they enroll, you can get a FREE week’s tuition back!
A few friendly reminders… Please continue to apply your child’s sunscreen in the mornings, we will administer you child’s sunscreen in the afternoon. Please make sure to stop by the office to drop off your sunscreen authorization form and the sunblock. Please DO NOT place any sunscreen, lotion, chap-stick, or other sunblock/medication in your child’s cubby. Licensing requires us to keep medications locked at all times. Please complete an authorization form if medicine needs to be provided to your child (including over the counter medicine). Medication needs to be clearly labeled with the child’s full name, and instructions, if over-the-counter, we will need your physician to acknowledge the medication authorization form. We will not give medicine to your child if we do not have the doctors approval. Now for a few reminders and updates:
- Last Day of Summer Camp – Friday, August 31st
- First Day of Fall – School Year – Tuesday, September 4th
As always, thank you for partnering with us for the academic growth and overall success of your child. It is our goal that they do their very best each and every day.
Kindest Regards,
Milagros Morales, Principal
