June was a month filled with many exciting accomplishments. As we ended a great school year, we had a great celebration to honor our PreK2 graduates. As they sang “Here We Go”, it was evident that they are more than prepared to enter kindergarten. As some have already departed our school, know that you will always have a place to visit. We appreciate any family referrals in the future to our school, and know that if you are a current family, you receive a free week of tuition when you refer a new family!
We also celebrated our special men in our lives with an outdoor time/mini golf day. Be sure to check out the Chesterbrook Academy Facebook page for great photos. Invite your friends and family to like our Facebook page, too.
Summer now brings the great season of camp. We have already enjoyed water play days, three great shows, and many other fun activities. In addition, your generous support of our bake sale yielded $64 for Special Olympics. Thank you for your support! As we wrap up our Penny Wars at the end of June, stay tuned for the announcement of the winner. If you would like to participate in our raffle basket program in July, please see Donna or Nina to donate items or cash. Among the wonderful theme ideas are Mom’s Day, Dad’s Day, Fun and games, Date night, and much more. Gift cards are also a perfect item, so if you know of anyone who has a local business, please let me know if they would like to participate.
If you are not part of our summer camp, please contact us to do a “drop in day”. We would love to see you! We can schedule you for a day filled with all the camp speakers, water play, and the other outdoor, summer fun.
Welcome to Miss Adriene as part of our team. Miss Adriene joins our Intermediate class with almost 20 years of teaching experience. In addition, we are grateful to have Miss Allison and Miss Jaclyn back during the summer months. Be sure to introduce yourself to your teachers as summer has been the time for many student move-ups as well.
Enjoying summer out of town? Be sure to notify us of your intentions so that schedules and billing can be properly reflected. Using your vacation week credit? Be sure to notify us of that as well. Only one week of credit can be granted during a school year which runs from July 1 to June 30.
We hope you all have a safe summer. Be sure to stay hydrated, apply sunscreen, and watch the humidity for outdoor safety.
