Hello Chesterbrook Families!
The school year is almost over! We are getting ready for friends to move into their new classrooms for Summer and Fall.
Please see your child(ren)’s teacher to update your Emergency Contact Form (just an updated signature is needed). We require them to be updated every 6 months.
- Ancillary Programs will be ending the last week in May! Ms. Karen’s Dance class has already ended. In the summer we will be hosting Music class for (Infants/Toddlers/Beginners), Mini-Sports (Intermediate B Pre-K, KG) and Itsy Bitsy Fitness (for Beginners and Intermediate A) all included with the Summer Camp Program.
Summer Camp Reminders–Links 2 Home
Do you have a school-age child attending camp this summer? Though school-age children do not receive daily reports Links 2 Home is essential in ensuring your child has a great camp experience this summer. Links 2 Home ensures that:
- You receive notifications about field trips and special events
- Children know what to bring or wear to camp for various activities
- Notes and absences notifications can be sent to camp staff
- You’re always involved in your child’s learning and fun through photos and notes
If you’ve not already done so, please type ‘Links 2 Home’ in the search bar for the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. After downloading Links 2 Home you can register with the same email address that you used to enroll your child in our school.
- During our Summer Camp Program there are many field trips for our Pre-k A and B, and KG students. If you would like to chaperone on these trips you must have all three of the following clearances done. They are valid for 5years!
Pennsylvania State Police (PA Criminal): epatch.state.pa.us
Child Abuse: www.compass.state.pa/cwis
FBI Fingerprints: www.identogo.com
Warm Weather Reminders
Please send a labeled water bottle and sunscreen to school with your child if you’ve not already done so. In addition to keeping a bottle at school, campers in our school-age program should come to school having already applied sunscreen for the day. They can also bring labeled insect repellent as it may be needed on some field trips. Thank you!
