Message from the Principal
Happy May and more importantly Happy Mother’s Day! I will admit I may be a bit bias since I am a mom but I truly believe we deserve a day! We work hard! I want you to know that it does not go unnoticed. I see all of you come in and out of here everyday and I see the looks in your eyes and the expressions on your face and I want you to know that you are not alone. All of those feelings that I see are also ones that I have on a daily basis. A parents job is never easy (this goes for you too Dad’s but don’t worry you’ll have your day next month!) but I am a firm believer that it is by far the most important job you will ever have. To all of the Mother’s out there…I see your children growing and smiling and becoming amazing little people, YOU are doing a great job!!!
To celebrate moms, grandmoms, aunts, really anyone special in the children’s lives we will have a Tea on Thursday, May 10th from 3:30-4:30. Hope everyone can make it! Also that same morning myself along with fellow Chesterbrook Principals from this area will be making breakfast for families at The Ronald McDonald House in Camden. We will be hosting an Art Show Auction on May 7th and 8th in the afternoon. The children will be creating art work and we will display the art work in the hallways. You will then be able to “purchase” the art work for a donation that will be put towards The Ronald McDonald House. This will be the third year that we will be preparing a meal and making a donation towards this wonderful place and I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping out!!!
We have a lot going on this month, so be sure to check out the Important Dates below. You can obtain hard copies of the calendars at the front desk or click below to access them electronically.
