Hello Chesterbrook Families,
This April we have many exciting events happening weekly! Spring has finally arrived and we want to make sure all of our students can take full advantage of our outdoor play time (our Outdoor Space is coming soon!). One of the best ways to ensure this is for each child’s cubby to be cleaned out and ready for the season. Please make sure that your child’s cubby has a full set of well-fitting weather appropriate clothes that are labeled. Additionally, now is a great time to start collecting sunscreen so that we are ready for the first hot and sunny day of the year. Please label all containers of sunscreen that you send to school with your child. Our teachers are planning outdoor games, lessons and picnics to celebrate spring. We can’t wait to share these activities with your child!
Upcoming Events:
- Make up Ancillary- Music Classes will be held 4/9 and 4/16 (No Music on 4/26)- Gymnastics Make up will be 4/12
- 4/2 Picture Day for Infants/Toddlers/Beginners
- 4/3 Picture Day for Intermediates/Pre-Ks/Kindergarten(Cap and Gown Photo) These Picture Days are for Individual/Sibling Photos, there will not be class photos
- 4/10 Pajama Day- wear your pj’s to school
- 4/16-4/20 NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child- Special activities this week are geared towards specific areas of growth for your child.
- 4/20- Friday at the Park- 3:30PM we will be at Wash. Sq. having snack and blowing bubbles with our friends.
- 4/23- We will be releasing Lady Bugs into the park in honor of Earth Day
- 4/26- Grab a buddy and pair up to dress alike for Twin Day!
- *Reminder* with warm weather approaching, please let us know at least 2 weeks in advance for your annual Vacation Credit (all families enrolled over 6 months are eligible for 5 consecutive days free tuition).
