Dear Chesterbrook Families,
It has been a great first month of 2018 and we are looking forward to spending the rest of this year with you and your children. Our teachers are hard at work creating meaningful learning experiences for the month of February. Thank you to those of you that participated in our annual parent survey, we appreciate your feedback and support! When the survey results are in, we will be examining them carefully for areas of improvement and will share our plan with you when it’s ready.
This month we will be holding class Valentine’s Day celebrations on February 14th during your child’s afternoon snack time. Please check with your child’s teacher for more information. Parents are welcome to attend the class celebrations! As a reminder, we will be closed on Monday, February 19th, for Staff Development Day. At the end of the month you will be receiving more information about Early Bird Registration for the 2018-2019 school year.
Our students love to play on the playground and we go outside every day (weather permitting). Please make sure your child has a seasonally appropriate change of clothes and shoes in their cubby in case they have an accident. Also, please be sure that they have a jacket, hat, and gloves available on the days when the weather is cool.
As always, we continue to value our current parents and would love more families like yours at our school! Do you know any parents who have recently moved to the area, are expecting a baby, or are just looking to make a change from their current preschool? As a reminder, when you refer a new family to our school, your family could receive a free week of tuition. For more information, see Mrs. Jackie or Mrs. Lindsey.
We wish you a wonderful February full of love!! Thank you for being the amazing families that you are!!
With Friendly Greetings,
Mrs. Jaclynn Johnson
