There is an excitement in the air! E-A-G-L-E-S! I truly have no clue regarding sports – but I will admit it that it is a little hard not to get caught up in the excitement that everyone else is showing for our Philadelphia Team. We are preparing a fun filled Pep Rally for our students this Friday. We know it is last minute, but we didn’t want to not support and be a part of the excitement!
The third week of February our hearts will be all aglow as we recognize Valentine’s Day and assist the PTO in hosting the Sweetheart Dance on February 16th. Don’t forget to purchase you tickets. We only have 175 available. Last year’s dance was a pretty small affair but when other families heard how fun it was and how much the children enjoyed it they commented it was a must attend event this year. There will be light refreshments, raffle prizes, and the same fun and interactive DJ as last year! The only change we made is the location which is at our Chesterbrook Academy Elementary school in Phoenixville. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to a PTO chairperson or a member of the management team.
Reminder we are closed for In-Service Day on Monday February 19th. On this day our teachers will be learning about our upcoming NAEYC accreditation process, educational qualities pertaining to our curriculum and discipline, as well as working in their classrooms.
In February we also will be rolling out the Kindergarten Enrollment information for our in-house families. Please plan on attending the Kindergarten Open House and K Enrichment Program Open House on February 22, 2018 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. in Building B. This is a walk in Open House. There will be teachers here to answer your questions. You will also have the opportunity to review the questions, see the classroom, and find out what is needed to enroll your child into one of these two programs. If you are unable to make this event, please let either myself or Lindsay Keeley, our Kindergarten Teacher, know and we will set up a private tour for you.
Wishing you month full of Love and Happiness!
