Holiday Giving
Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware
We are partnering with the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County. DAP serves Delaware County victims of domestic abuse and they are looking for the following types of donations:
- Blankets
- Towels
- Wash Cloths
- Socks
Please place your donations in the box in the office no later 12/4. Thank you!
Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
We will be collecting unwrapped toys to benefit the Toys for Tots Foundation. Please place any donations in the Toys for Tots box located at the end of the hallway in between our Kindergarten and PreK 2 Classrooms. Please make any and all donations by no later than 12/13.
Vacation Reminder
Are you going out of town for the holidays? Please inform the office of any vacation notices at least 2 weeks prior by filling out a “Vacation Notice Slip”. These can be located in the white binder found on the table in the front lobby.
Holiday Book Exchange
Literacy is a very important part of our Links to Learning curriculum and what better way to celebrate literacy and the holidays than by having a Holiday Book Exchange. Here’s how it works: if you would like your child to participate- please bring in a wrapped book for your child to exchange with another friend in their classroom. (Please write who the book is from on the outside of the wrapping paper). Each child that participates will get to leave with a brand new book at add to their home library! The book exchange will be held on: Friday December 8th. On this day, you may also wear your favorite holiday attire!
Pajama Day
All classrooms are invited to wear their favorite pjs for a comfy day on Friday, December 22nd.
Important Dates:
- December 4th– All donations to benefit the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County are due
- December 13th- All donations to benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation are due
- December 8th- Holiday Spirit Day and Holiday Book Exchange!
- December 22nd- Pajama Day!
- December 25th- CLOSED for Christmas Day
- January 1st- CLOSED for New Year’s Day
