Dear Chesterbrook Families,
December has snuck up on us once again, but we are so excited that it has because it’s the most wonderful time of the year!! We have a ton in store for our students, families, and communities this month. The most important thing being raising money for Make A Wish.
Last year, thanks to your generosity, we were able to make a child’s wish come true through the Make A Wish Foundation. Our school’s personal goal this year is to raise $1,000. For every donation made online, your family will receive a snowflake on our Make A Wish board. You can also purchase a snowflake at the front desk for a donation of at least $2. We will also be selling tickets to our annual Jingle Bell Jam and will donate all proceeds to the foundation as well. Our “Wish Week” will be held the week of December 11th. Please check the monthly calendar on our website for more information.
Our Jingle Bell Jam will be held on Thursday, December 14th. Our students have already begun practicing their performances and they are so excited! If for some reason your child will not be participating, please let your child’s teacher know as soon as possible. This is sure to be a night to remember and we cannot wait to share it with you!
With the upcoming holidays fast approaching, please keep in mind that we will be closed on Monday, December 25th and Monday, January 1st. We hope that you all have a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season. We are truly grateful to have each and every one of you as a part of our Chesterbrook family. Thank you for all that you do and for choosing us to love, care for, and educate your children each day!
With Friendly Greetings,
Mrs. JacLynn Johnson

In the classroom, we introduce children to holiday traditions observed around the world by singing songs, making art, and tasting favorite local seasonal foods, as well as those from other countries.
