Dear Chesterbrook Families,
Happy November! After all of the excitement of Halloween, November allows us time to slow down and reflect on the things that we are truly thankful for. One of the things I am most thankful for is that you, our parents, allow us to be such a large part of your child’s life. You are trusting us to provide the safest environment, the best education and genuine love for your children! That is the most sincere compliment anyone can receive.
Thank you to all of our families who were here to participate in our Halloween parade and trunk-or-treat activities yesterday! I have to say, Halloween is one of my favorite days here at Chesterbrook and that is thanks to all of you.
We will continue to celebrate special occasions this month, along with some fun school activities. Please see below for our special events in November:
Nov. 5- Daylight savings time ends. Set your clocks back one hour.
Nov. 8- National STEM/STEAM Day. For more information on STEAM, see the link below.

Nov. 10- School Closed, Staff Professional Development Day
Nov. 14- Young Reader’s Day- Bring your favorite book to school.
Nov. 15- Thanksgiving Feast- Join us for our annual holiday dinner! We will supply dinner, we ask that families bring in dessert to share. A Sign-up Genius will be coming out soon so don’t forget to RSVP.
Nov. 23- School Closed- Happy Thanksgiving!
Nov. 28- PJ Day- Wear your favorite PJ’s to school!
We are excited to have Miss Bre begin her role as Assistant Principal on Monday November 6th! If you have not had a chance to meet her yet, we will have a “Meet the Assistant Principal” breakfast on Tuesday Nov. 7 from 7am-10am.
As always, we are here for any questions, concerns and compliments! Have a happy November!
