Dear Chesterbrook Families,
October was another fantastic month of Links to Learning skill development by all of our students! With the holiday seasons approaching, we want to share our heartfelt gratitude for allowing us to grow and enhance your child’s educational foundation.
We would also like to give an enormous thank you to those who participated in this year’s Trunk or Treat at our Fall Festival. Your vehicles were decorated “Boo”tifully, and our Chesterbrook community enjoyed all the spooky fun!
All Yankee Candle orders have been submitted. They should be arriving by November 17th. Keep your eyes (and nose) out for their arrival.
November 6th-17th, we will be holding a food drive. We encourage our students to share and give from their hearts this holiday season. A bin will be located at the front desk to drop off any nonperishable food items.
November 17th is also our annual Thanksgiving feast. We welcome all families to come and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with their child(ren) in their classroom. Be on the lookout for more details in the coming weeks.
We will be CLOSED November 10th to observe Veteran’s Day and enhance our staff’s education during our semi-annual Professional Development Day.
As the weather changes, noses and toes will get chilly. Please, look in your child’s blue cubby to ensure they have two extra sets of weather appropriate clothing (including socks and an extra set of closed toe shoes), as the best learning opportunities can also be messy.
Remember to check daily sheets for information about your child’s daily activities, needs, classroom reminders, and photos of all the wondrous moments of learning your child(ren) have experienced.
Stay warm and cozy as the temperatures drop!
Warmest Regards,
Administration and Staff of Chesterbrook Academy Denver
