Greetings,
Welcome to our summer newsletter for the month of July.
July is a month of celebration…..4th of July Festivities are happening around us and here at Chesterbrook.
On July 4th, we will be closed however, on Monday, July 3rd we will have our traditional 4th of July Parade in the playground. Our loving 268 year old Banyan Tree will be celebrated with our 3 and 4 year old classes parading around the tree dressed in red, white and blue. Come and join us….the parade begins at 10am.
Our “Agents of Summer”, elementary school children, are having a great summer in camp. They are actively swimming, doing activities such as gymnastics, movies, collecting items for the local dog shelter and working their Agents of Summer Skills in house with obstacle courses, problem solving and learning what it means to be an agent.
On July 21st our campers will join other Chesterbrook Academy campers for a Field Day, a day of fun and competition.
This month, center court will be transformed into theater. Preschool children will sing, dance and strut their stuff for their audiences. Center Court is ready with red satin curtains to welcome our little actors.
Our campers and preschool children will also participate in our “Kids to Kids” program. This program helps our children learn to give and share with others in the community. During the months of July and August, we will be working with the ARC of Palm Beach Beaches. Our campers will visit and read to the children. Other activities are planned for the summer.
Water Play, Magicians, Field Day, Teddy Bear Picnic….Chesterbrook has a great summer camp!
Hope you can join us.
Enjoy!
Ms. Jen
