As our school year draws to a close, we look back and reflect on an amazing year of hands-on learning experiences. Our students have grown so much socially and academically. They have made new friends and made lifelong memories. From sensory experiences to language and literacy to mathematics and science and social studies, students participated in activities that have expanded their understanding of the world around them and learned lessons they will take with them forever. Our 2016-2017 school year was one to be remembered by all. As our Pre-K and Pre-K2 students prepare for graduation we are so proud of them and all they have learned. We wish them the best of luck next year in Kindergarten! A special shout out to these families who are graduating and have been with us for several years: The Larsons- 10 years, the Ross’ -7 years and the Coley’s – 6 years!!
While we are sad that our school year is coming to an end, we are super excited that summer is upon us. Our Preschool and Travel Summer camps begin June 19th with a calendar full of amazing adventures and “Mini Mysteries.” All students who are going in to Kindergarten and older will be going on field trips to Highland Orchards (June 22nd) and Strasburg Railroad (June 29th). All of our campers will get to enjoy our special visitors this month, a Science explorers program (June 20th) and Don Dougherty the storyteller (June 27th). Each week throughout the summer classes will participate in a cooking project every Monday and a Science Exploration every Friday! Water play on our water rings playground will also start the week of June 19th! We are so excited to get this summer started! Be sure to check out our calendar to see all the fun we are going to have.
Our summer Soccer Shots session begins on Wednesday June 14th from 9:30am-10:00am. The session will run for 9 weeks, ending on August 9th!
