Dear Parents,
The month of April was one of the busiest months of the school year at Chesterbrook Academy. Our Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success! We apologize for making it more difficult to get your children out the door during that week, but we greatly appreciate all your support! We had a great Earth Day celebration where we learned about recycling, made class art out of recycled material, and released thousands of lady bugs as we wore student-made lady bug headbands! The Week of The Young Child was also a great success. Thank you to all the families who were able to contribute and participate throughout the week. With the funds raised during our Trike-A-Thon and the Canvas Art Auction, we were able to raise over $600 for St. Jude!
May is another busy and exciting month! Don’t forget, the first week of May is Teacher Appreciation Week! We are very grateful for the amazing teachers we have at Chesterbrook Academy who go above and beyond to educate and care for each and every child. We do our best to make sure parent communication is consistent and prompt, so please be sure to read any notices that are sent home, as well as postings in our school lobby. Feel free to inquire at the front desk if you have any questions.
Our Pre-K graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, June 9th. Specific details will be sent home soon. You are welcome to invite family and friends to join the celebration. Our Pre-K students have been practicing daily for their special day, and can’t wait to take center stage!
