A Message from the Principal:
The year has continued to fly by and hopefully the nice weather is upon us in the month of May. Please take a look at our May newsletter here to learn all about what is going on this month and to learn about important upcoming events and reminders.
Important Dates this Month:
Teacher appreciation week (May 1st-5th)
Help us celebrate our wonderful teachers each day! The following are suggestions, please feel free to follow the theme each day, or come up with your own.
Monday, May 2nd: Sweet Treats- Bring in something sweet for your teacher to enjoy.
Tuesday, May 3rd: Spa Day- Help pamper our teachers! (This may include things like scents, lotions, nail polish, etc.)
Wednesday, May 4th: Flowers-Help us build a class bouquet by bringing in flowers for your teacher.
Thursday, May 5th:Words of Encouragement-Make a card to tell them how special they are.
Friday, May 6th:Potluck-Bring in a dish for all of the teachers to enjoy at lunch. (Nut free)
Friday, May 12th: Mother’s Day Tea at 3:30pm – All family, friends, and relatives are welcome to attend this event. We want to celebrate all of the important women/mothers in our Chesterbrook family.
Tuesday, May 16th: Pajama Day
Thursday, May 25th: Backwards Day
CLOSED: MONDAY, MAY 29th for Memorial Day
2017 Summer Camp Information
Summer camp starts next month and we are very excited for the activities we have planned this summer. Our preschoolers (Toddler-Pre-K) will participate in our summer camp on site while our school aged students (5 year olds and up) get to participate in our school age summer camp program.
