From the Office of the Principal
Happy 2017! It’s hard to believe that 2016 has already come and gone, but what a year it has been. This year has flown by in flash, and we had a busy December to cap it all off. We want to thank everyone who donated to our Make-A-Wish event–our families raised over $1,100 to grant the wish of a child during the holidays! Our entire Chesterbrook Academy district raised over $8,200. We are so proud of the Chesterbrook Academy community of families that made this possible! We also want to send a special shout out to our PreK class, who sang carols at our Barnes & Noble Bookfair in Pineville on Saturday, December 17. The children were so cute and sang beautifully! We had our Holiday Break on Monday, December 26, and we hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their families!
January is always a busy time of year, as we are all getting back into the swing of things after the holidays. Chesterbrook Academy was closed on Monday, January 2. Our Parent Surveys are emailed to parents during the week of Tuesday, January 3 to Friday, January 6, so please let us know if you do not receive it by Friday. The new Soccer Shots winter season will be starting soon on Wednesday, January 25, so if you are interested in signing up your child, there are enrollment forms in the lobby. Jumpbunch continues their classes as well on Thursday mornings–it is only $45 per month, and you can sign up month to month. On Saturday, January 21, Chesterbrook Academy will be holding an Open House from 10 am to 1 pm for all prospective parents. Please keep in mind that through our Parent Referral Program, you can receive one FREE week of tuition if you refer someone to Chesterbrook Academy on Providence Rd W, so please let any friends looking for a quality preschool program to stop by on Saturday, January 21.
As always, we will always be here to help you in any way possible if you have any questions or concerns.

Chesterbrook Academy Parent Referral Program
If there’s one thing parents love to do, it’s talk about their children’s successes. When friends ask you about your child’s experiences at Chesterbrook Academy, what type of success stories do you share? Do you mention the personal and educational discoveries your child is making thanks to our advanced curriculum? Do you talk about the new levels of self and social confidence your child has gained thanks to our encouraging atmosphere? Whatever glowing reports you deliver about how your child is growing with his or her education, we couldn’t be more appreciative. In fact, we’d like to show you just how thankful we are for your endorsements. Now when you tell other parents about our school, you can become a Chesterbrook Academy Ambassador.
For every new child you refer who enrolls at our school for three months, you’ll receive an Ambassador Certificate for one FREE week of tuition for your child.
It’s our way of saying thanks for doing what comes naturally – singing the praises of your child and sharing your experiences with the Chesterbrook Academy difference. At the front desk are referral certificates you can give to friends and colleagues who ask about our school. If you have any questions about how you can become a Chesterbrook Academy Ambassador, please contact an administrator.
