Goodbye 2016 – HELLO 2017!
There are not enough THANK YOU’s that could be written or spoken to each of you and your families who attended the Holiday Show! For our first one ever – the children and teachers all did a fantastic job! I would have never expected the turnout we did of viewers.
Between staff, children, and viewers we believe there were about 700 people at the event. Your patience and positivity helped us all make this event a spectacular time for the children. During this month we will be looking at rental halls for the upcoming December 2017 holiday show! We hope that it is just as successful and large as this one.
The winter weather so far (Knock on wood) has not been too bad. A few bitter days here and there and a day of 60 degrees two days after Christmas – needless to say it is putting us all in the question as what to dress the children like and how to prepare them for the
day.
We all know this is going to come to a halt and it is inevitable that we will see some hazardous road travel at some point. Please don’t forget that we have several methods of sharing if we need to adjust our hours of operation as a school. I have included the list below for your convenience:
- Sign up for Remind. This will allow notifications to be sent directly to your phone.
- Watch Channel 6 ABC news.
- Check your e-mail.
- Check the school website.
- Call the school. Our voicemail message is updated with any changes to our schedule.
Please remember that the decision to alter the hours of our school is made by upper management. As soon as we are informed about any changes we start making all the necessary postings and notifications. We understand that you need to make arrangements in the event that plans change. Please bear with us on these days; it is our utmost priority and goal to ensure the safety of our staff and families.
In the upcoming weeks we will be preparing for the Rollout of our Kindergarten Early Registration for the families who currently attend our school. Please keep your eye out for more information if your child meets the required age and academic criteria. We will also be working on our Summer Camp plans. All information should be to you no later than the end of February.
We hope to see you at the Sweetheart Dance in February!
Have a great start to the New Year!
Sincerely,
Donna Baus
Principal
“Sophia took my doll!” “She’s being loud!” “She knocked over my block tower!” Does this sound familiar?
